Story On Hijab: What It Really Is?

This is true story!!!
Monira, a young Muslim girl from one of the gulf countries. She wanted to share her story with Hijab, she said:
"how I adored Tabarroj (displaying beauty to non Mahram). I was following the latest trend fashion of ‘Ibaya (the ones which attracted attention with their colors and shapes). I considered that the Islamic ‘Ibaya (the loose one which covers the body properly) are just made for the old fashion complicated poor girls!
One day, I went out with a group of my friends to the mall. I went out as usual applying a full make up on my face, perfumed and wearing an attractive Ibaya. When a sister saw me in the mall, she came to me and advised me in front of my friends to wear the proper Hijab so that Allah don’t punish me in Akhirah. Her advice shook my body. But I wanted to make fun of her in front of my friends to make them laugh, so I told her something which I don’t know if I should now regret saying it or should I be glad because I said it. In fact what I said to her led me to Hidya and it was the reason behind turning to my Lord.
Do you know what I said to her ?! I told her ironically after I reach the back of my hand in front of her face:”if you kiss my hand I would wear the Islamic Hijab!!”
So, what do you think she did? Do you think she got angry? Or she walked away or she showed objection? No, wallahi, she didn’t ! She simply took my hand and kissed it! yes! She kissed my hand saying, ''I would kiss your head too if you are truly going to wear Hijab in return! What you asked me to do is too small and simple comparing to your preciousness!” then she make Duaa for me and went away!

After she left, I cried and cried and cried... I underestimated myself, I hated the ‘Ibaya I was wearing. When I went back home, I wanted to be by myself! I decided to wear the Islamic loose ‘Ibaya and I prayed to Allah to keep me on the right path! How I wished to meet that woman again to thank her but what I can do to her is just to always making Duaa to her!
Now they call me “sheikh” because of my commitment to Deen but I don’t care about what they say!

Now when I go out, I notice that men are respecting me, no one of them dare to stare at me or flirt with me in the street! Even the salesmen in the market speak to me now formally with respect manner; in the past they always tried to joke with me and be intimate.

So I realized that Haq (the true path) has absolutely a high status!”

Are You Scared of Wearing Hijab Outside?

Indeed everyone knows that it is quite difficult for you to go out wearing Hijab and Niqab in a society that mocks and torments you. I know that you, indeed, feel strange and out of place. However, if you knew the status of those who are mocked by the Kuffar as well as the status of the strangers, you will continue to wear your Hijab & niqab; for ALLAH Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala says in His Book in Surah Al-Mutaffifin:

[083:029] In fact the criminals, the unbelievers, used to laugh at those who believed.

[083:030] As they passed by the believers, they would wink at each other (jokingly).

[083:031] And when they returned to their family, they returned jesting (and grinning).

[083:032] Whenever they saw the believers, they said, “These are the people gone astray.”

[083:033] The unbelievers were not sent as guardians over the believers.
[083:034] So today, it is the believers’ turn to laugh at the unbelievers.

[083:035] (The believers would be sitting) on elevated thrones, looking on.

[083:036] Now, have the unbelievers not been paid in full for what they did?

Transliteration:
[083:029] Inna allatheena ajramoo kanoo mina allatheena amanoo yadhakoona

[083:030] Wa-itha marroo bihim yataghamazoona

[083:031] Wa-itha inqalaboo ila ahlihimu inqalaboo fakiheena

[083:032] Wa-itha raawhum qaloo inna haola-i ladalloona

[083:033] Wama orsiloo AAalayhim hafitheena

[083:034] Faalyawma allatheena amanoo mina alkuffari yadhakoona

[083:035] AAala al-ara-iki yanthuroona
[083:036] Hal thuwwiba alkuffaru ma kanoo yafAAaloona

Now…ALLAH Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala’s Words mentioned above should serve as a support for you O my dear respected sisters in Islam. Be strong!!!.. and keep holding on tight to the rope of ALLAH Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.

May ALLAH Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala guides and protects us always. Ameen ya Rabbal Alameen.

THE STATUS OF A WOMAN IN ISLAM: SIMPLIFIED & CONCEIVABLE

A non Muslim came to a Sheikh and asked:
why is it not permissible in Islam for a woman to shake hands with a man?
SHEIKH replied; can you shake hands with Queen Elizabeth?
Non Muslim replied: of course not, there are only certain people who can shake her hands.
SHEIKH replied: our women are queens and queens do not shake hands with strange men.

Non Muslim: why do girls cover up their hair and body then?
The SHEIKH smiles and takes two pieces of candy. He opens one and leaves the other
closed, throws both of them on the dusty floor and asks the non Muslim: if asked you take
one of the sweets which one would you take?
Non Muslim: the closed one
SHEIKH: that's how we treat and see our women. Women should not be like the moon
so everyone can see and admire. They should be like the sun and make people lower their gaze.

Non Muslim: show me God if he exists?
SHEIKH: look at the sun!
Non Muslim: i can't see the rays hurt my eyes
SHEIKH: if you can't see the creation of god, how you going to see God?
Lastly the non Muslim invited the SHEIKH to his house and offered him grapes. The SHEIKH
then ate them an was then offered a glass of wine which he refused.

Non Muslim: how do you forbid wine but eat grapes when wine comes from grapes?
SHEIKH: do you have a daughter?
Non Muslim: yes
SHEIKH: could you marry her?
Non Muslim: no
SHEIKH: Subhan'Allah you marry her mother but can't marry her although she came from her mother!
