How to get rid of New Facebook Spam Links in your FB timeline in few seconds?

Recently i have seen that most of my friends at Facebook are getting annoying & obscene wall posts in the form of Spam

Here is the trict to stop it:

1) Go to the top right corner on your Facebook profile page, click it to open the menu like this:

2) Click on Privacy Settings and find the setting ''How you connect''. Hit the edit settings as shown below:

3) A menu will pop up like the one below. Set who can post on your timeline as ''Only Me''. Click on Done.

4) Hurray!!! No more spam to bother you anymore...Enjoy & Share This Info with your FB Friends

Redefine Your Facebook Just In A Minute...It Is Amazing!!!

There is yet another massive change going to happen after tiker, close friends etc features @Facebook. This time it is Timeline and the way your profile will look like. This feature is available with FB developers only till date but 'you can have it' in a matter of minute by becoming a developer, seriously it will take you a minute or so to call yourself as developer on Fb. Facebook Timeline Redefines Your Facebook. Look at the marked changes of my profile in the two pics below. 

I know, u wanna have it too, ok as you wish. You just have to  complete a few very easy steps on Fb. 

The steps are:

First, you'll need to go to the Facebook developer page, which is a part of your Facebook account. Make sure you're logged into your Facebook account, and then simply follow this link to get started.






1. When you get here via the link, click "allow."

2. Click "create new app"

    

3. Name it whatever you want, and give it whatever namespace you'd like...it doesn't matter. Click the checkbox "I agree to the platform privacy policy." And then click Continue, pass the security check by filling in the Captcha, and you'll be ready for the next step.

4. Now you'll reach the below screen, where you'll need to click "Open Graph" on the left side.

5. You'll see the next screen, entitled "Get Started with Open Graph" fill in anything you want (e.g i am awesome and cool OR read a book) in those fields under the heading "start by defining one action than one object for your app." Click Get Started.

6. On this screen, do nothing except scroll to the bottom and click "Save Changes and Next." Do the same thing on the next screen.

7. You'll be taken to this screen. Wait few seconds, and then go to your Facebook homepage. That's where you'll be invited to enable Timeline. Be patient at this point. sometimes it requires you to wait before the changes take effect.

8. When you go back to your Facebook homepage, you'll see this. Success! Click Get It Now, and you're in!

You've Done It!
Here's where you play with your timeline or customize it, and when you click Publish Now, your Timeline goes live.

Download Flash/Embedded Videos From Virtually Any Website Like Facebook, YouTube, DailyMotion, Metacafe, MySpace, Vimeo, Veoh, Hungama etc On Your PC or Mobile Phone

Without any twists and turns around the topic i'll go straight by telling you the simplest possible way of downloading the stubborn videos on internet (where downloading option is not available directly)

#For Mobile Users:

(1) On your mobile, download the snaptu application by pointing your mobile browser to http://m.snaptu.com. Open facebook/twitter via snaptu...once you hit any video post, you can find an option there with the name 'analyse url'...click it...The video will get automatically downloaded. If the video doesn't play even after download, just transfer it to your PC and play the file with VLC player provided video file is downloaded properly.

(2) Download Opera for mobile and save any video by just clicking on the respective video. The opera mini web browser has built download manager for such a task. The download manager is available in version 5 upwords.

#For PC Users:

(1) Install an add-on called 'Net Video Hunter' to firefox by pressing ctrl+shift+A in firefox, type 'net video hunter in the search bar, hit the enter key and install on pop-up window. Restart firefox browser. Now play any flash/embedde video on video sharing websites like YouTube, Facebook, metacafe,  veoh, nationalgeographic, vimeo, dailymotion, yahoo, break, apple, myspace, vodpod, videolog, teachertube, stupidvideos, dingtv, cnn, bebo, aol etc. Net video hunter icon will start 'blinking' in the toolbar. Hit it for downloading option.

[Note: If the add-on is not compatible with the latest version of Firefox then try to install the previous version of FF like version 4]...enjoy.

(2) Install Speed bit video Downloader from the url: http://downloads.speedbit.com/svd2.exe

Now play any flash/embedded video on video-sharing-websites. Speedbit video downloader icon will start blinking (in Internet Explorer/Firefox) in the toolbar. Hit it to download the video. chrome users can click the respective icon next to the address bar for downloading the video.
